A message from Romney

I was a 7-7 Marketing Director in the UK when I learnt to dive in the Maldives. It changed my life forever! I left my job some years later and decided to spend as much time as possible diving in the Maldives and enjoying the stunning sunsets from the beach.

I have been diving all over Maldives for the last 30 years+ and South Ari Atoll offers the best diving. I was a multi-repeater at a resort here for years, and got the chance to visit Dhigurah for a football match, in those days the Island chief had to give permission for anyone from outside to visit a local island.

I left work in 2011 and when the government opened up for guesthouses to be build on local islands in 2012 I thought this was a great opportunity so decided to build a dive hotel. I have designed the hotel with all the diver’s needs in mind.

We now live to dive every day so I LOVE sharing the best diving in Maldives with all my guests! After 10 years our BB family has extended worldwide and many of our guests come back year after year! Otto and Ingrid hold the record for 9 visits and booked again this year!
