Transfers
Before Arrival
All tourists visiting the Maldives receive a visa on arrival that is valid for 30 days. To enter the Maldives you will need to have a confirmed booking, and fill the travellers declaration from Imuga which can be filled out 96 hours before your arrival.
Meet & Greet is part of your stay with Boutique Beach – upon arrival look for our airport team, they will be holding a sign with Boutique Beach written on it and guide you to your chosen transfer.
In case you miss our team at the arrival terminal, please proceed to the airport information counter and kindly give us a call, and we will send a team member to meet you at the counter.
Meet & Greet on arrival
Upon your arrival in the Maldives, our airport team will be waiting for you at the arrival terminal, holding a sign with the Boutique Beach name. They will assist you and guide you to your choose transfer option. If you have chosen domestic or seaplane our airport team will guide you to the terminal.
At the check-in counter, simply present your passport, and they will issue your boarding pass for the plane. In case you miss our team at the arrival terminal, please proceed to the airport information counter and kindly give us a call, and we will send a team member to meet you at the counter.

The information desk is located in Velana international airport close to the arrival area in front of the pharmacy, in case you miss our team on arrival you can always ask the information desk to call us.
How to get here – Transfer options
Ones you have confirmed your booking with us, we will send you recommend transfer options according to your arrival/departure flights send to us. Boutique Beach Hotel will organise your transfers and organise your meet and greet representative.
We offer Speedboat, Domestic Flights & Seaplane transfer. Exact timings available one day prior to arrival. The hotel must receive full flight details at least 4 days prior to the arrival in order to guarantee the seats. Failure to do so may result in additional waiting time in Male or overnight in Male at the clients additional cost.
Please kindly note All Transfers are subject change without prior notice due to weather and conditions – all transfers paid at the hotel upon arrival.
Domestic Flight VILLA AIR
Male International Airport to Maamigili International Airport.
Maamigili International Airport to Dhigurah by boat (15 minutes).
Flight time 20-30 min Domestic Flight – check-in 2 hours before.
LUGGAGE ALLOWS: 20 kg checked-in luggage | 5 kg hand luggage | USD 5 per kg excess luggage paid directly to Villa Air at check-in.
Seaplane
Male’ International Airport to South Ari Atoll Platform (30 minutes).
From Sea plane platform to Dhigurah by speedboat (10 minutes).
LUGGAGE ALLOWS: 20 kg checked-in luggage | 5 kg hand luggage | USD 5 per kg excess luggage paid at check-in.
Transfer between Islands
We are happy to accommodate your requests. While we strive to arrange affordable transfer options, please note that transportation to other islands may incur higher costs. Kindly contact us in advance to discuss your needs.
Speedboat: Ferry
Please kindly note that speedboat transfers are subject to change without prior notice due to weather and conditions.
Approximately 2 hour travel time – direct. The Speedboat offers two daily trips from Dhigurah/Airport & Airport/Dhigurah.

Departure from Dhigurah at 07:00 & 13:00
Approximate Arrival to the Airport at 09:00 & 15:00
Departure from Airport at 11:00 & 16:00
