PADI courses
As a PADI 5 Star Centre, we invite you to start your dive adventure with PADI Open Water Course. Enjoy the convenience of e-learning at home, followed by confined water training right from the beach, and four exciting boat dives.
For those looking to expand their skills, we offer the PADI Advanced Open Water course and the option to upgrade to Enriched Air Diver, so you can safely dive on Nitrox. We also provide several other PADI specialties… each and every course designed to be intimate, typically with one or two divers per
session.
How we dive
At Boutique Beach safety and quality are our top priorities. Nitrox is available for all certified Enriched Air Divers, with our 12L aluminium cylinders filled using our 2 x Bauer fully automatic Air PE 250-MVE compressors and Nitrox cylinders filled on our Reiner RS-PRO membrane Nitrox compressor. Our dive team carefully analyses your Nitrox cylinder with you each morning before heading out.
We offer a range of well-maintained ref to dive equipment for
hire….including BCDs, regulators, dive computers, and both short and long wetsuits 2.5-3 mm When you book a package at Boutique Beach, masks, snorkels, and fins are included.
Plus, check out our Whale Shark Collection of dive wear, featuring rash guards, leggings, crop-tops, changing robes, buffs, headbands, and dive socks available for purchase during your stay.
Our dive team
Every evening, our dive team meets with all our guests at the hotel for a daily dive briefing. Enjoy insightful presentations from our Marine Biologist on whale sharks, manta rays, and reef sharks, followed by a group viewing of the daily dive video… ready to share with friends and family via YouTube. We discuss the next day’s dive and snorkelling plan before inviting you to dinner under the stars at our rooftop restaurant.
The Dive Roster from the day will also be available for you to log your dives and we have fish identification books.

Personal Service
Every diver receives a surface balloon for the duration of stay with training on its proper use, if required. Reef hooks, can be purchased and comes with guidance on how to use them safely to protect both you and the reefs. If you’re new to currents, our team will introduce you to the joy of cruising the current in the Maldives. DAN diving insurance is also available and highly recommended.
Our experienced PADI instructors listen to your previous diving experience to tailor each dive to your unique skills and needs.
We organise our dives as two or three dive trips, sometimes two
dives before lunch, sometimes three dives before lunch, snacks are provided during the outing, and a freshly prepared late lunch awaits your return to the hotel. We also organise full day trips with lunch on board to give extra time searching for whale sharks or manta encounters.
